Sergey takes over as Secretary from Gavin Bagley, who has stepped down after six years of service.
WAITTA President Premila Jina said the appointments come at an important time for the organisation as it heads into its next chapter.

Sergey brings [TBC: background, current role, relevant experience] to the Board. As Secretary, he will oversee WAITTA’s governance and keep the Board’s business running smoothly.
Shanelle brings [TBC: background, current role, what she brings to WAITTA].
Soph is already well known to the WAITTA community through her work as Marketing & Communications Manager [TBC: confirm whether she continues in this role]. She joins the Board with [TBC: background/focus].
The Board also thanks Gavin for six years of dedicated service. During his time as Secretary, Gavin [TBC: one or two specific contributions, e.g. governance milestones, the 2025 rebrand, program growth]. His steady hand helped guide WAITTA through a period of real growth, and the Board is grateful for everything he gave.

The new directors join the Board ahead of a busy end to the year. The Game Changer Awards State Finals take place in November, and planning is underway for the 36th INCITE Awards.
