In just six weeks, the WA technology community will come together at Joondalup Resort for the 17th annual putt4dough, and this year we’re swinging for something bigger than the perfect shot: $1 million raised for WA kids.
Together, the community has already raised more than $880,000 for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (PCHF). Now we’re aiming to raise another $120,000 and take putt4dough beyond the $1 million mark.
That’s a milestone worth celebrating.
More than a golf day
Putt4dough brings WA’s technology community together for a day of golf, connection and fundraising, all in support of sick kids and families across WA.
For more than 17 years, the event has helped fund projects that make a real difference at Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, from innovative technology and equipment to clinical training and research.
This year, our fundraising is helping support the groundbreaking ZeroG rehabilitation system at Perth Children’s Hospital.
Funded through a $1.2 million investment by PCHF, ZeroG is the first technology of its kind in an Australian paediatric hospital. It gives children recovering from conditions including cerebral palsy, brain and spinal injuries and serious illness the chance to safely rebuild strength, movement and confidence.
This is what happens when WA technology and business come together with a shared purpose.
What’s happening on the day?
On Tuesday 24 November, teams will tee off at Joondalup Resort for 18 holes of golf, with plenty of opportunities for friendly competition, networking and a bit of fun along the way.
The day kicks off from 10:30am with registration, bag drop, brunch and driving range practice, followed by the welcome and shotgun start at 11:45am.
Then the golf clubs make way for the evening celebrations.
From 5pm, we’ll head into pre-dinner drinks, followed by dinner, awards and a charity auction. It’s the perfect chance to celebrate the people, businesses and sponsors who have helped make putt4dough such a special part of the WA tech community.
There’s still time to get involved
You don’t have to be a golf pro to make a difference.
There’s still time to register a team, become a sponsor or make a donation and help us get over the $1 million line.
Four-player teams are available, with sponsorship packages offering opportunities for businesses to put their brand in front of WA technology leaders while supporting a cause that matters.
Every team. Every sponsor. Every auction bid. Every donation. It all adds up.
Six weeks to go. $120,000 to raise. $1 million in sight.
